Mission

The primary mission of the Research Group is to design and develop comprehensive, dynamic quantitative economic models with an emphasis on identifying key drivers of economic development. By leveraging these models, the group aims to simulate policy interventions, evaluate their macro-level impacts, and assess the cascading effects of economic shocks on key macroeconomic variables.

  • Quantitative Macro Analysis: Investigating macroeconomic behavior through advanced quantitative methodologies.
  • Evidence-Based Policy Formulation: Evaluating economic conditions to design, analyze, and propose tailored policy packages for national development.

Key Responsibilities & Capabilities

  • Quantitative Economic Modeling: Designing dynamic models to uncover structural relationships among economic variables and providing policy simulation analysis.
  • Impact Evaluation & Forecasting: Assessing the impacts of fiscal, monetary, and trade policies, while forecasting key macroeconomic indicators aligned with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance.
  • Asset Market Dynamics: Modeling real and financial asset markets, including housing and equities.
  • Composite Indexing & Policy Monitoring: Developing specialized composite indicators to monitor policy execution and assess alignment with national strategic objectives and development plans.
  • Green Economy & Sustainable Development: Deploying flexible, multi-dimensional models integrating economic, social, and environmental dimensions to evaluate green economy policies across regions.
